The lack of natural snow in the region has mandated a number of changes in our normal programming and competition schedule. They have been announced via email in recent days, but here is a summary:
1. Snowbird Competition Cancelled. The competition scheduled for Snowbird on January 7/8 is cancelled.
2. Squaw Valley Competition Cancelled. The competition scheduled for Squaw Valley on January 14/15/16 is cancelled.
3. PCMR Competition Cancelled. The competition scheduled for PCMR on January 21/22 is cancelled.
4. Saturday, January 21 Devo Competition Moved to UOP. The DEVO competition originally scheduled for January 21 at Deer Valley has been relocated to the Utah Olympic Park. The UOP has a terrific mogul line up, running and read to go. The training associated with this event is now moved to the evening of Friday, January 20.
5. UOP Training for All Interested Athletes on Saturday, January 7 at the UOP. The UOP has the best mogul training lines in the region right now. For those athletes of any age, and in particular, those athletes interested in the DEVO event of January 21, we will provide freestyle training at the UOP on Saturday, January 7 starting at 12 p.m. in lieu of Deer Valley training.
6. Mandatory UOP Training for Step-Up Team on Saturday, January 7 at the UOP. The Step-Up Team will have its training on Saturday, January 7, 2011 at the UOP starting at 12 p.m.
7. Optional UOP Training Every Wednesday from 5:30 -7:30. Any team athlete old enough to ride a tow rope (not as easy as it sounds), is welcome to join in additional, free training with our team at the Utah Olympic Park every Wednesday night from 5:30 - 7:30. You need a UOP pass to get on the hill.
8. Grand Targhee, January 21/22 Competition Tentatively Added to Schedule. Cancelled.

Please note, to use the UOP facility you need the following:
1. A UOP season pass or a UOP day pass ($12).
2. Supervision of a team coach. You are no allowed on UOP facilities without a coach.
3. A signed UOP waiver on file with UOP. Plan extra time the first time you visit UOP to process this paperwork.
